“Everything works and I love my system. Bill is the utmost professional. He did a very clean job – no hanging wires - and was very clean and thorough. I've recommended him to many people and I have very high standards. A lot of people could have screwed this job up.” - Rahul, S.F. Older buildings in SF, both pre and post-earthquake can have their challenges. This building had concrete exterior walls and lathe and plaster interior walls. This actually worked in our favor, because the big, heavy Sony + the big, heavy Sanus Articulating Mount would have destroyed any lathe and plaster wall, especially after a shaker or two. So, I mounted the heavy machinery to the concrete wall, and used the lathe and plaster wall to the left to run wires through. I've worked inside many of these types of buildings and know how to get in and out of the walls without starting spider cracks in the plaster. After all, there are only about 3 contractors left in the bay area who can even do lathe and plaster. So, I use blue tape to reinforce the cut line and bimetal blades to make very fine cuts. Messy, dusty, yes, but it works. Speaker wires can be run out of site above the picture rail. -Bill Chapman
